At Anthony and Becky Photography, we are always seeking innovative ways to connect with our clients. With over 10 years of experience as wedding photographers, we offer our interns the unique chance to apply their creative talents, gain field experience, and receive valuable mentorship from us. We specialize in photo, video, and content creation, shooting weddings all over Southern California and internationally.

The 3 pillars of our internship program are: client management, social media, and photography. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Management:

Assisting in communication with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
Scheduling and organizing photoshoots and client meetings using HoneyBook
Managing client inquiries and maintaining a professional and timely response system
Supporting the coordination of wedding day logistics and timelines
Helping to create and send out client contracts, invoices, and other essential documents

Social Media:

Creating engaging and professional content for Anthony and Becky Photography’s social media accounts, including Instagram and TikTok
Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement and followers
Monitoring social media trends and incorporating them into our content plan
Generating and scheduling posts across various platforms, ensuring a consistent and appealing brand presence

Photography:

Attending photoshoots and assisting with taking behind the scenes video clips
Learning and applying photography techniques under the guidance of Anthony and Becky
Editing and retouching photos using software like Photoshop and Lightroom
Organizing and maintaining a digital portfolio of collected media

These responsibilities offer a comprehensive learning experience, allowing interns to develop a broad skill set in client management, social media strategy, and professional photography.

An Anthony and Becky Photography Intern can expect to develop skills in the areas of:

Interns will gain valuable experience working in an environment that demands attention to detail and high-level production. Anthony and Becky Photography offers internship credit for a variety of majors. Mentorship is included as part of the program, providing interns with guidance and support throughout their internship experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and a strong creative eye
Basic photography and/or videography skills
Knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, and Splice/Capcut
Knowledge of social media apps (Instagram and TikTok) and social media trends
Familiarity with digital marketing and content creation
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience with client management and customer service is a plus

Time Commitment:

15 hours/week minimum
3-4 days/week (hours are flexible)
This a remote position however photoshoots and weddings may require travel to surrounding cities of Los Angeles

The Internship position at Anthony and Becky Photography is crucial to the experience of our clients and the success of our business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain real-life media and marketing experience while working in a creative and dynamic environment.

Please note that this internship is unpaid. However, we understand the importance of academic credit and are committed to assisting you in obtaining it. To ensure you receive academic credit for this internship, we will work closely with your educational institution.
